Dickinson was one of the most successful models of the 1970s and 1980s and regularly appeared on the covers of traditional fashion publications.

Fans loved the funny video, which has already been viewed over two million times and continues to grow.

“Janice is making a comeback and I’m there,” wrote one user.

“Still stunning. So inspired,” another shared.

“Teach me your ways,” wrote another follower.

In a 2007 interview with CNN, Dickinson told Glenn Beck that she coined the term “supermodel.”

“I was the world's first supermodel and I coined the term in 1979,” Dickinson said at the time. “I'm in the dictionary. Yes, I am,” she said.

According to Merriam-Webster, the term “supermodel” was first used in 1948, seven years after Dickinson’s birth.

Still, Dickinson is making her legacy known. In June, she released a single called “I Coined It,” whose lyrics include, “I'm the original supermodel.”
