Trump says pilots, “like the handsome Tom Cruise, only bigger,” told him there were UFOs

In an interview with podcaster and internet star Logan Paul, Donald Trump expressed some strange views on UFOs, revealing that “handsome, perfect” pilots made him think of the possibility of extraterrestrial life.

“I met pilots like the beautiful Tom Cruise, only taller. Handsome, perfect people,” he told Paul on his podcast “Impulsive,” saying that the pilots told him, “Sir, there was something that was round and flew about four times faster than my Superjet fighter plane.”

Trump noted that he himself is not a believer before falsely claiming that Roswell, New Mexico, is in Nevada.

“Very smart and solid people have said they believe there is something out there, and you know, it makes sense that there could be,” Trump said, before racistly joking that he was not referring to the “illegal aliens out there … coming across the border.”

When asked whether his own organizations might have kept information about aliens secret from him, Trump replied “maybe,” referring to the existence of the “deep state.”

Paul, who caused controversy years ago for filming dead bodies in Japan's “suicide forest,” is one of YouTube's biggest stars and co-founder of Prime Energy Drinks. Paul's previous business ventures, including a cryptocurrency company, have been labeled a scam by many.

Support for Paul and his brother Jake, who has a number of controversial criminal records ranging from involvement in looting in Arizona to alleged sexual assault, comes from a number of D-list celebrities and criminal suspects who have thrown their support behind the former president.

Trump said back in 2020 that he had heard “very interesting” things about UFOs, but ultimately decided not to reveal any secrets about the spacecraft because he “doesn't particularly” believe in them.

Other topics discussed in the podcast episode included Trump's claim that he used artificial intelligence to write a speech, his staunch support of the Netanyahu government and its killing of Gaza residents, and Trump's close relationship with far-right Hungarian politician Viktor Orban.
