Apple finally addresses its most famous design crime

Ah, the Magic Mouse 2. Apple's wireless mouse for the Mac has a fair number of critics and is hardly a candidate for the Apple Design Hall of Fame. The most glaring problem is that once the thing runs out of juice, it becomes completely useless when charging – since the port is on the bottom of the mouse, you have to flip it over to charge it.

In a new interview with Apple CEO Tim Cook at WWDC 2024, YouTuber Marques Brownlee listed a number of Apple products and asked Cook for his opinion on where they fit in the company's pantheon. He also mischievously mentions the Magic Mouse. Was Apple's CEO trying to admit that the company made a mistake?
