SANDUSKY, Ohio (WJW) – A video shows a wild surprise for some visitors to Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio on Tuesday.

Justin Garcia, who was at the park with his family, captured the above video, which shows two camels in front of their home in the park's petting zoo.

A camel seems to get scared and jumps a few times near some park guests.

“That guy almost died!” Garcia is heard saying about a visitor who barely managed to avoid the camel coming towards him.

Garcia said he had just gotten out of a horse ride when they saw the camels.

“Everyone is jumping around in the pens there!” says Garcia, after visitors appear to seek shelter behind a cordoned-off area.

It is still unclear how the camels were able to enjoy this short-lived foretaste of freedom.

Here's what Cedar Point had to say about it:

“Last night the camels decided to take an unplanned walk right outside their home in the Barnyard,” said Tony Clark of Cedar Point. “We are investigating how they made it to the middle path.”

According to Clark, no one was injured.

“We were almost trampled by two huge mammals,” Garcia said. “We put some distance between us and observed the aftermath of what could have been a very dangerous situation.”

The following video shows the camels back in their habitat:

The Barnyard is located on the Frontier Trail in Cedar Point. There are several farm animals including cows, sheep, goats, piglets, donkeys and more.
