According to UFC stars and witnesses, Logan Paul made short work of Bradley Martyn in a secret bare-knuckle MMA fight

The story behind who came out on top in the secret MMA fight between Logan Paul and Bradley Martyn seems to be coming to light bit by bit.

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley claims to “know exactly what happened,” while former heavyweight contender Brendan Schaub has also been briefed on the details. And since there are no cameras recording the action, the official outcome will only be known by those who were in the room.

The social media duo have had a friendly feud with each other, and Martyn has become a notorious meme in the MMA world for claiming he could beat a UFC champion-level fighter if they were in a smaller weight class.

The secret MMA fight between Logan Paul and Bradley Martyn was a brawl without rules and with bare fists

One of the witnesses present when Logan Paul and Bradley Martyn fought at bodybuilder Zoo Culture's gym was Impaulsive co-host Mike Majlak. He shared the only known footage of the pair from that day, which appeared to show a shocked Martyn and a satisfied Paul.

The pair had been complaining on social media, with Paul explaining in an Instagram comment that he was “coming to the gym” last weekend. And it seems they settled the dispute with a bare-knuckle MMA fight, in which they wore no gloves, headgear or even a mouthguard.

Paul is a former Division 3 wrestler from the famed state of Ohio and has also boxed in pay-per-view main events four times at various levels. He defeated jiu-jitsu black belt Dillon Danis last October and has previously faced KSI twice and went the distance in an exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather.

Martyn, on the other hand, appears to have limited fighting experience, but is a bodybuilder and towers over many others at over 6'1″. His catchphrase “But I'm 250lbs, bro” has become a meme in the combat sports world because of his insistence that he would beat the likes of Demetrious Johnson based on size alone.

However, in reality he looked a little shorter than the 6'2″ Paul in Majlak's video and certainly didn't have a huge weight advantage. The Ohio native drops his weight to around 185 pounds for his boxing matches, but probably tips the scales well over 200 pounds for his WWE fights.

Logan Paul caused Bradley Martyn an eye injury with the first punch in a secret rapid-fire MMA fight

The pair met at Zoo Culture over the weekend and quickly turned off all the security cameras and made sure no one in the room was recording. Paul and Martyn then threw punches without gloves, with Majlak claiming his podcast co-host threw the first punch.

In a Twitch stream with Faze member Lacy, Majlak explained that it was “a real fist fight” where they wore “no gloves, no headgear, no mouth guard” and were allowed to use “fists, MMA wrestling, everything.” He says his buddy threw a punch first, causing an immediate injury.

“Logan hit Bradley's right eye first with his left hand,” Majlak said when asked who threw the first punch. “I tried to get Brad to do a burger review for the end of the video today and I think his eyes are totally messed up.”

“Then I think the whole back of his head is fucked up, it was crazy, bro. I actually couldn't believe it, I will say that, that Bradley actually showed up. I was impressed with Bradley's demeanor. We have everything, from the start of the fight to everything that happened right afterward.”

It looks like footage of the gym fight will be released at some point, although it won't feature any real action. Bloody Elbow sources have confirmed that Paul made quick work of Martyn, which explains why there are no visible injuries on either man in the footage released by Majlak.

Martyn has not yet made a public comment on the fight, while Paul has given two subtle hints that he came out on top in the exchange, tweeting: “Respect for Brad,” before later posting a list of his achievements, including “Humiliated a bodybuilder in a fist fight.”

UFC champion Sean O'Malley describes how Logan Paul defeated Bradley Martyn in weight training

On his podcast, Sean O'Malley claims he knows what happened in the gym and details how Martyn noticed he was struggling with the pace. The bodybuilder spoke to him afterwards and shared the full result, which is being kept secret.

“Logan is almost as big as damn Brad,” O'Malley said during the Suga Show with Nelk star Steiny. “I think just from the video you can tell that if Logan had lost, he probably wouldn't have been in that kind of [mood].

“You could kind of tell Logan won. I spoke to Mike, I don't want to give too much away. I'd say it probably went a little faster. I messaged my buddy Brad to make sure there were no injuries. He told me that shit is exhausting and he was a little exhausted, a little drained.

“I heard it lasted about 60 seconds, but I don't know if that's true… I know exactly what happened, buddy.”

Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub gives further insights into the MMA fight between Logan Paul and Bradley Martyn

Brendan Schaub is a close friend of Martyn and Paul and claims he was invited to get involved in the fight in some capacity, but decided against it, insisting he wanted nothing to do with such a potentially divisive event.

“So, I got a call last week on Friday when I got home from work,” Schaub said on his podcast Thiccc Boy. “I have a couple of missed calls from Mr. Bradley Martyn, a very close friend of mine, and when I got home with the kids, I was like, 'What's up, man?'”

“He's like, 'Just got a Facetime from Logan Paul, he wants to fight' and that's what he wanted, so I asked where it is, Vegas or wherever, and he's like, 'Remember that tweet where I said forget about the influence and the cameras, I'm going to fight him outside of my gym?' Logan Paul was like, 'Cool, let's do it.'”

“I know in today's society people say, 'They're animals, blah blah blah,' but kudos to both of them. One talks rubbish, the other talks rubbish, and then they actually fight. So call Logan Paul a fake fighter or whatever, he's ready and says, 'Yeah, I'll fight 260-pound Bradley Martyn, with no cameras.'

“I was like, 'Oh, these guys are gangsters, they really live that life.' Brad says he's in, they just had to sign waivers that they can't sue each other, no cameras, stuff like that. He asks, 'What do you think, can you help me?'

“I ask, 'When is it?' And he says, 'It's tomorrow at 11 a.m.' and it's 5 p.m. So it's not going to be much technical. So I just went to his house and there's the combat sports, so UFC or ONE Championship, and then there's street fighting, which are two completely different things.

“An average street fight lasts about 15 seconds. There are a few tips or so, I can try to help him, but we don't have much time. I gave him a few tips and mental things that I thought would help.”

Schaub explained that he didn't want to go but he heard how it went down, adding, “There are things on the internet like, 'Bradley got knocked out!' Nobody got knocked out. There's respect, that's their story to tell, but overall I just think it's gangster-like that these two savages agreed to settle their story in this way.”

“They did it in a gym and at the end of it all there's just respect. They solved the problem and it's just two guys having respect and then it's over. The online media can go on and say whatever they want, but it's over.”
