Halle Berry is obsessed with Ariana Grande's take on Catwoman. Shortly after the pop star released her new music video for “The Boy Is Mine” – in which she dresses up just like the DC Comics femme fatale – the actress shared her approval on social media on Friday (June 7).

Berry retweeted a clip of Grande wearing a cat ear mask and stomping through a Gotham-like cityscape, tweeting simply: “Get it Ari! πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½”

The Oscar winner, who played the title character in 2004 Catwomanadded: β€œAlive.”

Grande is known for putting her own spin on famous films in the form of music videos. Earlier this year, she Forget Me Not! for her single “We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”, which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and for which she cast Evan Peters as Jim Carrey alongside her Kate Winslet.

For “The Boy Is Mine,” she played Catwoman – who has also been played on screen by Anne Hathaway, Michelle Pfeiffer and other iconic actresses in the past – and starred alongside Penn Badgley, who played a devilishly handsome politician that Grande's character is infatuated with. In the video, the singer wears a black leather dress and carries a whip to get into the gossip Girl Alum's apartment, where she unsuccessfully tries to inject him with a love potion.

Brandy and Monica also made surprise appearances in the video, a subtle homage to their own 1998 duet “The Boy Is Mine.” The iconic song spent a total of 13 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the year of its release.
