Stanley Cup Final Schedule and FREE Live Stream

0

The Florida Panthers are in the Stanley Cup final for the third time. The first two times didn't go quite according to plan. In 1996 they were swept by Colorado. Last year they lost to Vegas in five games.

Edmonton's last championship in 1990 was their fifth in seven seasons and capped a dynasty that included stars such as Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Jari Kurri, Glenn Anderson and Grant Fuhr. Since then, however, the Oilers have only played for the Cup once, losing to the Carolina Hurricanes in seven games in 2006.

These two teams will meet in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final. Both teams won their conference finals in six games: the Panthers ousted the Rangers and the Oilers eliminated the Stars.

All games will be broadcast on ABC, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+ and can be streamed live on DirecTV Stream (FREE trial) and fubo TV (FREE trial).

According to BetMGM Sportsbook, the Panthers are slight favorites.

They are led by a very strong offense – 14 forwards in this Cup final with more than 45 points this season, playoffs included, and the Panthers have eight of them – a defense that has the lowest goals per game in the league at 2.39 this season, and a goaltender like Sergei Bobrovsky, who has one of the best performances in the sport.

The Oilers, meanwhile, are led by Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, who have combined to win four of the last seven MVP awards (three of them by McDavid), a strong defense led by Gustav Forsling and a goalie – Stuart Skinner – who hasn't drawn much attention to himself but has played well all year.
