MrBeast has the last laugh after IShowSpeed completes $100,000 Wipeout course

YouTube star MrBeast was left stunned after streamer IShowSpeed successfully completed his $100,000 Wipeout course, beating fellow influencer KSI in the process.

MrBeast is known for his over-the-top challenges with huge cash prizes, but his latest competition resulted in some particularly chaotic moments between two of the internet's most popular YouTubers.

On June 4, 2024, MrBeast met with IShowSpeed and KSI, whom he challenged to a Wipeout-style obstacle course with a prize of $100,000.

Like in the show, MrBeast's course was set up in a pool, so that if the influencers fell down, they would fall into the water.

In a bit of old-fashioned trolling, KSI pushed Speed into the water to get a head start… but the duo ultimately took quite a while to complete each section, which included a rope-swinging section, a rotating platform, and a series of “not-so-big red balls” that the YouTubers had to jump over to reach the end.

In the end, IShowSpeed took home the win – but not before suffering a spectacular crash and needing KSI to get out of the water.

However, MrBeast was not convinced that Speed had actually completed the course and told the YouTuber that he had to land on the last platform to win the $100,000.

“You think 100 grand is easy? You think I'm just going to throw this thing in the air? … You have to complete the course or you won't get it.”

The YouTuber with the most subscribers was adamant that Speed would not get the grand prize until he successfully completed the course a second time. However, he eventually conceded that he only had to cross the giant red balls in one go. The YouTuber actually managed to do this, exceeding MrBeast's expectations.

“Oh no, I just lost 100,000,” he said, as Speed called victoriously from the platform behind him. “I didn't think he would do that.”

Thanks to all his efforts, Speed went home with ten briefcases full of $10,000, which MrBeast confirmed were full of legitimate bills since people “don’t believe anything I do is actually real.”

MrBeast had Speed and his friends physically carry the heavy briefcases off the scene while the streamer asked for an electronic transfer to make things easier, allowing him to have the last laugh despite losing $100,000.
