Galaxy Watch FE leaked in new images and could cost €199 [Gallery]

Samsung is reportedly preparing to release three new smartwatches this year, including the Galaxy Watch FE. Now, new details about this budget watch have emerged, including a possible price.

@Sudhanshu1414 posted a series of images of the Galaxy Watch FE in all three colors on Twitter/X today. The leaked images show a device that is very similar in design to the Galaxy Watch 4, likely because that watch is considered an updated version of the 2021 wearable. It has the same thicker bezels and case shape, but at least some new straps.

According to the same leaker, the Galaxy Watch FE will be powered by the Exynos W920, the same chip as the Watch 4, with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It is also said to ship with the Wear OS-based One UI 5 Watch, suggesting that it may launch earlier than the Galaxy Watch 7, which is expected to ship with the One UI 6 Watch.

But how much will it cost?

Another leaker, @MysteryLupin, says the Galaxy Watch FE will be priced at €199.

For comparison, that would be €100 less than the Galaxy Watch 6 sold in Europe today, so that would also suggest a price of $199 in the US market.

When this smartwatch might launch is still unclear, but with support pages popping up recently and leaks becoming more frequent, it seems like it could be coming soon. That would be good considering Samsung just set the end of life for its Tizen-based Galaxy Watch models.
