Roxanne from “Goofy – The Movie” gets a spot-on cosplay from the classic Disney film

Roxanne from Goofy – The Movie has received a perfect cosplay from the Disney cartoon, with a costume that looks just like the famous character. The 1995 classic revolves around Goofy going on a fishing trip with his son Max Goof, despite his son finally having caught the attention of his high school sweetheart Roxanne. While the majority of the film focuses on the father-son duo and honors Goofy's Disney past, the story also revolves around Max wanting to impress his love at an upcoming Powerline concert.

Now, Maddie Mason has a cosplay of Roxanne from Goofy – The Movieand wears a custom-made costume that exactly resembles the animated Disney character.

Mason wears a similar outfit to the cartoon dog, with red hair and brown makeup on his nose to mimic the character. The effort she put into the outfit shows how important the character still is, almost 30 years after the film was released.

Why Roxanne remains a remembered Disney character

Although her appearance in Goofy – The Movie was not as central as the father-son dynamic of the film, She acted as a motivating factor for Max's character development. Since she wasn't expecting him on stage at the Powerline concert, Goofy's son might not have opened up to his father as much later in the film. His father might not have helped him impress his love interest either, although he needed help turning all of his loud lies into the truth.
