Kickoff time, television set for games in Kentucky, Florida

Two additional kickoff times and TV designations have been set for UGA's 2024 football schedule, the SEC and ABC announced Wednesday.

Georgia's SEC opener on Saturday, September 14, on the road against the Kentucky Wildcats at Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and will be nationally televised on ABC (buy tickets).

ABC also announced Wednesday that the annual Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville, Florida, will begin at its usual time of 3:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ABC (buy tickets). The Bulldogs are the designated home team in Jacksonville this season.

The league previously announced that Georgia's road trip to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Saturday, September 28, to face the Alabama Crimson Tide is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC (buy tickets).

Georgia will open the 2024 season against the Clemson Tigers on Saturday, August 31, in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The game will be televised live on ABC at 12 p.m. ET (purchase tickets).

Here's a look at the kickoff times and television for the four UGA football games announced so far:

  • 08/31 -Clemson; Noon ET, ABC
  • 14.09. – in Kentucky; 7:30 p.m. ET, ABC
  • 09/28 – in Alabama; 7:30 p.m. ET, ABC
  • 11.02. – Florida; 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC

Additional kick-off times and TV designations could be added in the next two weeks. The majority of the first three weeks of the 2024 college football schedule, as well as games with special dates, will be announced on Thursday, May 30.
