The 76ers now return to Philadelphia for Game 6. A healthy Joel Embiid would be helpful as Philly tries to force a Game 7 in New York, but the seven-time All-Star is dealing with a number of injuries, some of which make him questionable for Game 5.

Is Joel Embiid playing tonight?

The 76ers have listed Embiid (recovering from a left knee injury) as questionable for Game 6.

Embiid battled a number of injuries during the playoffs. He was listed as questionable for Game 5 due to recovering from a left knee injury and a migraine. He also suffers from a “mild case” of Bell’s palsy, a condition that causes sudden muscle weakness on one side of the face.

These issues have not prevented Embiid from playing in the 2024 NBA Playoffs. In five games against the Knicks, he averaged 31.8 points, 10.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists despite shooting just 43.5 percent from the field. He logged 48 minutes in Philadelphia's Game 5 win, his most in the series to date.

Due to a left knee injury, Embiid was only able to play in 39 of 82 games during the regular season.
