I've said it before and I'll say it again: Steam is a wonderful place. Yes, it is full of incredible deals and bargains, but more importantly, it can be a great platform to discover new hidden gems.

Deadly company is a prime example. It went from having the attention of very few people to completely dominating the Steam charts, and rightly so.

AAAs are certainly fun, but it's also nice to stumble upon something lesser known that's just as fun.

With this in mind, I would like to draw your attention to what is coming I am the law. Mixing the lawlessness of Grand Theft Auto with a Cyberpunk 2077-like world sounds like a recipe for success.

I am the law is an upcoming turn-based roguelike from developer DREBOT Game Studio. Unlike Grand Theft Auto, where you're on the wrong side of the law, I am the law you will take on the role of an executioner: “Grab crime by the throat with the hand of the law and crush it.”

Take a look I am the law in action below.

“In a world where technology has become an integral part of business management and megacities have transformed into a mix of concrete jungles and cyber reality, a city of violence and murder looms,” the synopsis reads.

“In the midst of this chaos, only one force fights for order. They are the faceless guardians of the law, the guardians of order – executioners. Take on the role of law enforcement and restore law and order to this city.”

You can choose one of four starting gear sets from Equilibrium, Rage, Bastion and Storm, with each set offering its own unique benefits to suit your play style.

To uphold the law, you must pay close attention to the layout of the battlefield in front of you and select the optimal position to eliminate or manipulate your enemy.

This battlefield is constantly changing, resulting in an experience that should feel fresh from game to game.

After a successful kill, you gain access to reuse certain abilities, including eliminating multiple enemies in one turn.

I am the law is listed as “coming soon” on Steam, but there is a free demo that you can download and try out now to see if it's right for you.

If the demo is free, how can you say no?
