0

A number of new additions to the Cincinnati Bearcats coaching staff will take center stage at the annual Spring Game this weekend!

Cincinnati defensive coordinator Tyson Veidt and running backs coach Sean Dawkins joined the coaching staff before spring practice.

Dawkins spent the last two years in Memphis and has more than 15 years of experience coaching running backs with Charlotte, Troy and others.

Veidt is expected to field a 3-3-5 defense that includes three safeties and will place more emphasis on the secondary position going forward.

Cincinnati decided to hire Veidt because former defensive coordinator Bryan Brown accepted a job at his alma mater Ole Miss in January.

Scott Satterfield discussed Dawkins' hiring and what he will add to the Bearcats' revamped coaching staff in a press release!

“Sean is a great coach. He was successful at every stop. I’m excited to have him working with our team and running backs room.”

The Bearcats coaching staff continues to build the 2024 roster and has brought in several notable transfers through the transfer portal in recent months!
