Herbalife activates Mexican Olympic Committee partnership with nutrition and conditioning training at Proactive Sports in Westlake Village

Five wrestlers from the Mexican Olympic team and their coach spend four days with leading experts at a world-class sports training and research facility

LOS ANGELES, April 10, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Herbalife, a leading health and wellness company, proudly announced a five-year alliance with the Mexican Olympic Committee (COM) to enhance the committee's training programs and facilities and assist Mexican athletes in their preparation for national competitions , international and Olympic competitions. To support the partnership, Herbalife hosted five athletes from the Mexican wrestling team and their coach at Proactive Sports in Westlake Village, California, a sports facility powered by Herbalife® products and sports performance scientists, from April 8-12, 2024.

Athletes and teams around the world trust Herbalife products to enhance performance on and off the field, proving that the highest goals can be achieved through proper nutrition and training. This is the fifth Olympic Committee, spanning Vietnam, Israel, Italy and Greece, that the company supports with access to world-class NSF Certified for Sport^® Nutritional products and Herbalife nutrition experts.

In their first visit to the U.S. as a Herbalife-sponsored team, the athletes received nutrition and conditioning training from Proactive and Herbalife experts, who train professional athletes each year in football, basketball, hockey and baseball, among others.

The sponsorship includes support for upcoming competitions, from the UWW Wrestling World Olympic Qualifiers 2024 in Istanbul to the 2024 Paris Olympics and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, reaffirming the commitment to the sport in the country and the development of the new generations of athletes.
