“The Wiggles” premieres the new educational series on YouTube

The Wiggles has been revealed Wiggle and learna groundbreaking new series created exclusively for YouTube.

This groundbreaking production explores important topics in early childhood, including language development, basic mathematics, social skills, and health and understanding of the world, providing young learners with a comprehensive and engaging educational experience.

The series launches on Friday, February 23 at 7am AEDT on The Wiggles YouTube channel with the first episode, “Let's Learn About Animals!”

New episodes are released every two weeks, with the first season comprising 40 episodes lasting 30 minutes each. This equates to 20 hours of enriching educational content for preschoolers that focuses on learning through the joy of music and play. Featuring the world's most popular children's musical group, each episode features one of The Wiggles, along with popular Wiggly characters such as Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog, who act as hosts.

Once again The Wiggles demonstrate their mastery of edutainment as Wiggle and Learn draws on contemporary thinking in early childhood learning and offers content designed to encourage active participation and engagement to create the best learning experience. Produced with audience engagement in mind, “Wiggle and Learn” consists primarily of close-up shots, giving children the feeling that the Wiggles are speaking directly and only to them.

Anthony Field, Blue Wiggle and founder of the group, recognizes YouTube's pivotal role in children's entertainment and said: “YouTube continues to be one of the most important platforms for children's education and entertainment.
