The Batman and Loki stars appear in Michael B. Jordan's vampire film

Michael B. Jordan teams up again Believe And Black Panther Director Ryan Coogler stars in a supernatural thriller that is widely considered a vampire film. Now new cast members are being announced, including familiar faces from The Batman And Loki.



Per deadline, Jayme Lawson (The Batman) has joined the cast of the untitled thriller in an unknown role. THR also revealed this Wunmi Mosaku (Loki) was also cast in a mystery role. Their casting follows recent additions Delroy Lindo and Jack O'Connell. Coogler will write and direct the film, which sparked a fierce bidding war before Warner Bros. acquired the rights. Plot details are largely unknown other than reports that it will involve vampires, and there are rumors that Jordan will play twins. The film will begin filming later this month, with a release date of March 7, 2025.

Jayme Lawson joins the cast of the thriller

Lawson is perhaps best known for playing the mayor of Gotham City in Bella Reál The Batman, Matt Reeves' hit superhero film starring Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight. She also appeared in films like Until, The woman kingAnd How to blow up a pipeline. Lawson played a young Michelle Obama in the 2022 miniseries The First Ladyand she was most recently seen in the fourth season of the National Geographic series genius.

The Batman sequel is receiving a production update after a significant delay

Batman Part II is reportedly getting a new update as the Robert Pattinson-directed sequel continues its casting search.

“I had so much fun working on this,” Lawson said of her work The Batman in an interview with Collider. “That was right after Farewell, Cupid, so we're talking about jumping into the deep end. But everyone except this project was just… like Matt, the dream director. And Dylan, one of the producers… They were all just amazing and so warm and welcoming to me. They didn't make me feel out of place as a newbie. I absolutely loved them.


Expressing confidence that the film would be a hit, she added in the interview, “I knew he was in it because when I read the script, he didn't change anything in the script. What was on screen was literally what we had.” When I first read the script, I thought, “Oh no, this is going to be epic.” And then I did it again with everyone As a fan, I simply lived for it to see elements.

The untitled vampire film will be released on March 7, 2025.
