Here at Coop Coco we offer nine different hydrosols. All are high-quality hydrosols obtained by distilling plants to extract essential oils. They are rigorously selected by our Purchasing and Quality Control teams—so a big thanks to both of them! Now, you just have to figure out which one to choose! Read on to learn more about which hydrosol to use for your skin type. We also provide information about hair types, since some hydrosols have wonderful properties for hair care.

Rose geranium hydrosol – Pelargonium graveolensHow to use geranium hydrosol

Rose geranium hydrosol helps to purify and regulate skin, making this hydrosol a good friend to combination and oily skin and hair. Its anti-inflammatory properties perfectly meet the needs of sensitive skin, as it soothes and adds radiance. Rose geranium hydrosol is also often used in mosquito repellents!

Witch hazel hydrosol – Hamamelis virginiana

With astringent and purifying properties, witch hazel hydrosol is great for skin with enlarged pores and helps to regulate combination and oily skin and hair. It’s also soothing.

Lavender hydrosol has astringent and purifying properties that are perfect for maintaining beautiful skin, particularly when your skin is affected by blemishes. It is also heartily recommended for reactive skin. Lavender hydrosol is suitable for all skin types and hair types

Orange blossom (neroli) hydrosol – Citrus aurantium ssp aurantium

Orange blossom hydrosol is revitalizing and adds radiance to dull, tired skin. It gently tones skin while leaving it delicately scented. It is perfect for all skin types and hair types.

Rosemary hydrosol – Rosmarinus officials cineoliferum

Rosemary cineole hydrosol is recommended for oily skin and hair because it helps purify them. It is also often used in aftershave lotions to cleanse skin. It helps strengthen and revitalize tired scalps.

Damascus rose hydrosol – Rosa damascena

Damascus rose is one of the best known and renowned hydrosols because it is suitable for all skin types. Like most hydrosols, it has astringent properties. It also helps comfort reactive and redness-prone skin.

Chamomile hydrosol – Chamaemelum nobile

Chamomile hydrosol is THE product to comfort sensitive skin. It’s very gentle and has very handy anti-inflammatory properties. It’s also suitable for blonde hair thanks to its lightening properties.

Carrot seed hydrosol – Daucus carotaHow to use carrot seed hydrosol

Carrot seed hydrosol is a skin revitalizer, making it ideal for mature skin. Dull skin also loves it, as this hydrosol brightens your complexion and gives it a healthy glow. It has anti-inflammatory properties that are appealing for sensitive skin.

Cornflower hydrosol – Centaurea cyanus

Cornflower hydrosol is renowned for comforting and reducing puffiness, particularly in the eye contour area. It’s also known for its antioxidant properties, which make it perfect for mature skin. Its astringent properties are great for skin with enlarged pores and can help restore your skin’s beauty. It is also a good friend to sensitive and irritated skin.
